A Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist in Windows SharePoint Services 3.0, Configuration (MCTS: SharePoint Services 3.0, Configuration) possesses the knowledge and skills to successfully configure Microsoft Windows SharePoint Services 3.0.

Prerequisites

A typical candidate will already have a general understanding of Microsoft technologies, such as Internet Security and Acceleration Server, network load-balancing for applications, and general security and authentication practices, as well as a general knowledge of Windows SharePoint Server 2007 and networking infrastructure.

Path To Certification

MCTS candidates must pass one exam that focuses on the knowledge and skills that are associated with deploying Windows SharePoint Services 3.0, including monitoring and configuring security settings, administering Windows SharePoint Services, managing customization, and configuring network infrastructure for Windows SharePoint Services.
