New Horizons Southern California offers anti-sexual harassment training to bring your business in compliance with this very important California law.
Per the California 2010 Labor Law Digest :
“California employers with 50 or more employees must give supervisors within California two hours of sexual harassment training within six months of hire or promotion, and every two years.” (Note: despite training being required for employers with 50 or more {the 50 includes contractors} only, ALL California employers prohibited from harassing employees in the workplace, and can be faced with harassment charges).

- Remedies available for sexual harassment

- The limited confidentiality of the complaint process
- Resources for the victims of unlawful sexual harassment
- Who victims should report any alleged sexual harassment
- The employer’s obligation to conduct an effective workplace investigation of a complaint
- Training on what to do if the supervisor is accused of harassment
- Essential elements of an anti-harassment policy
- How to utilize their policy if a harassment complaint is filed by a current or former employee
- Either the employer's policy or a sample policy must be provided to the supervisors
